I think this announcement is going to be about as successful as the EdStone. Not only are very different 'AI' technologies conflated (diagnosing cancer is not the same as generating a lesson plan) but the capacity of government departments isn't taken into account.
It's also absolutely shocking that 'sustainability' is bundled with 'security' but perhaps that's the topic of another blog post — especially given that we've got a long article for Friends of the Earth coming out in a few weeks' time...
