Cup and ring marks at Lordenshaw, Northumberland

This week I worked on a report for Skills Development Scotland and helped Amnesty International UK with further preparation for their upcoming community platform. Imagine me shaking a tiny fist at the Online Safety Act while listening to the excellent new disco-inspired album Love Dealer from Lack of Afro while writing this…

I’ve written things over at Thought Shrapnel, met virtually with various people, updated eink.link, started on a low dose of anti-anxiety medication, sorted out my travel to the Mozilla Festival, and taken the opportunity of my daughter not having a match to walk in Northumberland National Park.

Next week, I’m taking a day off for my wife’s birthday, meeting up with Tom Watson before running a vibe-coding meetup in Newcastle, and then on Friday I’m meeting up with Aaron Hirtenstein on Friday to walk some of Hadrian’s Wall. (We were supposed to walk the whole thing together three years ago but he came down with Covid!)

I’ll fit some work in there somewhere. Laura‘s been away on holiday, and I never end up working as much when she’s away as we usually co-work. She’ll still be away next week, then she’s back for a week, before I’m then taking a week off for half-term.
